E-DETECT TB’s work to date on establishing a European migrant TB screening database has been included in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases TB Series, which has been published to mark World TB Day 2019.
The paper, which has been co-authored by E-DETECT consortium members from Karolinska Institutet, UCL, UNIBS and KNCV, describes the objectives, preparations, challenges, solutions and findings so far that have been experienced by the group.
You can read the paper, titled “Building a European database to gather multi-country evidence on active and latent TB screening for migrants”, online on the International Society for Infectious Diseases website. You can also watch a recording of the team’s recent webinar on the same subject via the ERS website.
