The Department of Public Health Sciences, Karolinska Institutet, conducts research, teaching and applied work based on public health science and epidemiology.
The department has 10 research groups, more than 60 doctoral students and about 150 employees.
The E-DETECT TB Team
The project team includes KI researchers, infectious disease specialists, and public health practitioners working for the Public Health Agency of Sweden and Departments of Communicable Disease Control and Prevention of county councils.
This multidisciplinary team will ensure that the project produces high quality evidence as well as rapid uptake of evidence into clinical work and pubic health strategies.
